A philanthropist and National President of Hope Rising for Imolites, Chief Success Akagburuonye, has donated the sum of N18 million for the roofing of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Ogbor Uvuru, in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.
He announced the donation during a visit to inspect the progress of work on the church building project.
Chief Akagburuonye urged Christians to continually support the work of God, appreciating members of the church for their steadfastness and commitment to their faith.
He said anything that attracts God’s attention brings Him joy.
Chief Akagburuonye stressed the importance of kingdom investment, admonishing believers to always thank God with joy rather than with mere material things.
An Assistant Commissioner of Police and member of the church, Sir Linus Nwaiwu, recalled that Chief Akagburuonye had earlier committed over N20 million to the project.
He applauded the latest N18 million donation and assured that the funds would be judiciously utilized.
The Parish Priest of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Reverend Father Henry Ekeh, lauded Chief Akagburuonye for fulfilling all his promises to the church and prayed for God’s abundant grace upon him.
