Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has been commended for approving a dual mandate policy for Benjamin Uwajumogu State College of Education, Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area. The approval authorizes the College to award Degree certificates alongside the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
The Governor, who directed the Imo State House of Assembly to immediately domesticate the policy, also granted an automatic one-year scholarship to all students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The Acting Provost of the institution, Dr. Chinyere Maryrose Nwachukwu, gave the commendation during a chat with journalists in her office.
