It was Jubilation Galore On Saturday as Imo State Branch Of Association Of National Accountants Of Nigeria (ANAN) Organized a warm reception in Honour Of Dr Peter Chinatu Anyanwu ( FCNA) as the Membership Secretary Of the Association.
The Ceremony which took place at Tony Ezenna Hall , Owerri Sports Club was well attended by notable personalities within and Outside the State such as Commissioner For Works , Ralph Nwosu Esq, Commissioner For Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs, Lady Ruby Emele, Accountant General Imo State,Mr Linus Okafor, President/Chairman Of Council Of ANAN, Hajia Zuwairat Talatu Kishimi ,Dr James Neminebor, Prof Amaro Mainoma , Permanent Secretaries etc.
Speaking during the event the President/ Chairman Of Council Of ANAN Hajia Zuwairat Talatu Kishimi Congratulated Dr Peter Anyanwu On His Appointment as the Membership Secretary Of the association.
Hajia Zuwairat Talatu described the appointment of Dr Anyanwu as testimony of dedication to service and expressed confidence that he will perform effectively in office.
The President Of ANAN noted that the celebration stands as significant to the entire ANAN because this is the first time the position has come to Imo State and called on members of the association to support Dr Anyanwu.
Also speaking ANAN Chairman Imo State Branch, Elder Okechukwu Okpo Kalu noted that the ceremony marks a significant milestone in the journey of Imo State Branch Of ANAN as they welcome one of their own Dr Peter Chinatu Anyanwu on his elevation to the Membership Secretary Of the Association.
Elder Okechukwu Okpo pointed out that Dr Anyanwu is a member and former Branch Chairman Of Imo State ANAN whom through the personal recognition, efforts of the President Of the Council Hajia Zuwairat rose to the position he currently occupies as the Membership Secretary Of the Association.
He described the position as active elevation in the Old Imo State, Comprising Imo and Abia and expressed gratitude to Hajia Zuwairat for her magnamity and for finding time to grace the occasion.
In his speech the Commissioner For Works Ralph Nwosu thanked the Association for making out time to honour Dr Anyanwu and described him as a dedicated public servant.
In their separate speeches the Elder Brother Of the Celebrant, Dr Eddy Anyanwu And the Accountant General Of Imo State,bMr Linus Okafor expressed Optimism that Dr Anyanwu has the pedigree to deliver.
In his Response, Dr Peter Anyanwu thank the Imo State Branch Chairman Of ANAN Elder Okechukwu, his Executives and all the members of the Association for Organizing such a wonderful reception for him
Dr Anyanwu use the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to members of ANAN In Imo State for all their cooperation and support during his tenure as the Branch Chairman.
The Membership Secretary Of ANAN who is the Husband Of the Chief Accountant Imo Newspaper Limited Lady Uju Anyanwu thanked the President Of the Association, Hajia Zuwairat, Prof Amaro Mainoma, Commissioner For Works, Ralph Nwosu and Among others for making out time to grace the occasion.
