‎The National President of Hoperising for Imolites, Chief Success Akagburuonye, has announced plans to enroll Imo people across the 27 local government areas into the Imo State Health Insurance Scheme for a period of one year.

‎Chief Akagburuonye made the announcement during a church service at Noah’s Ark, Assemblies of God Nigeria, Ogbor Uvuru, in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.


‎Chief Akagburuonye said Hoperising for Imolites would embark on the ambitious project as part of efforts to reduce the health burden on Imo people, assuring that the initiative will benefit both indigenes and residents of the state.

‎He commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for prioritizing healthcare delivery in Imo State, stressing that the health insurance scheme has made it easier for everyone, including the less privileged, to access quality medical services.

‎Chief Akagburuonye disclosed that the programme would roll out soon and charged coordinators at the zonal and local government levels to mobilize residents across communities to key into the scheme.


‎The Coordinator of the project, Dr. Austin Okeji, thanked Chief Akagburuonye for his personal commitment to serving God and humanity.

‎Dr. Okeji noted that beneficiaries enrolled in the scheme will have improved access to healthcare services across the state.


‎Zonal and local government coordinators of the programme were in attendance at the church service.
