‎A philanthropist, Chief Success Akagburuonye, has been conferred with the chieftaincy title of ‘Akuruo Ulo Mbaise 1’ by the traditional ruler of Mbutunweorie Autonomous Community, Eze Anthony Emeh.

‎The conferment took place during a church service at Noah’s Ark, Assemblies of God Nigeria, Ogbor Uvuru, in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.


Eze Emeh said Chief Akagburuonye inspires him greatly through his love for God and commitment to service.
‎Eze Emeh, who was accompanied by members of his cabinet, explained that the Akuruo Ulo title was bestowed on Chief Akagburuonye in recognition of his philanthropic disposition and immense contributions to the development of Mbaise.

‎In his response, Chief Akagburuonye expressed gratitude to Eze Emeh for the honour, noting that the recognition would further spur him to do more for humanity.
‎He commended the traditional ruler for aligning with his vision for the development of Aboh Mbaise and encouraged him to continue serving his people with wisdom and sound judgment at all times.
‎As a mark of appreciation, Chief Akagburuonye approved the construction of a palace for the traditional ruler.
