Assures partnership

Determined to ensure adequate provision of Basic Education in Imo State , the Chairman Imo State Universal Basic Education Board (IMSUBEB) Hon Chidiebere Egboh recently meets with the permanent secretary of Federal Ministry of Education, the Executive Secretary UBEC And International Development Partners during an Education Stakeholders Meeting in Abuja.

Speaking during the meeting Hon Egboh expressed the determination of Imo State Government through IMSUBEB to partner with the Federal Ministry of Education,UBEC and International Development Partners on the area of Basic Education in the State.
Egboh noted that the gesture will compliment the efforts of the state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma towards provision of quality education in the state.
The IMSUBEB Board Chairman pointed out that the meeting offered him an opportunity to outline his innovative strategies to enhance the access of Imo Indigenes to Basic Education.
As part of his dedicated efforts to transform the quality of education in the state ,Hon Egboh also used the opportunity to addressed the challenges and importance of Basic Education in Nigeria.

He maintained that Imo State is doing well in terms of Basic Education through different programmes and projects and stressed the need for all Nigerian Children to have equal opportunities to quality education.
