**On the Anniversary of Imo Charter of Equity.

After the November 11th, 2023 polls when the Governor was re- elected for a second tenure, he made a historical speech, establishing his commitment to rotating the office of the Governor of Imo State equitably among the three political zones; Owerri, Okigwe and Orlu.
Your bold, historic address to Imo Elders Council at the Government House Owerri, emphatically made it clear that the next governor, after your term, will come from Owerri zone (in 2027), to fulfill, realize and actualize your commitment to Equity, Justice, and fairness to all Imolites.
All hands on deck, in support of His Excellency, we shall achieve this historical goal, a milestone cross and peace broker legacy for all Imolites.
I celebrate with you, this November, praying God’s continued guidance, wisdom and grace to accomplish the noble tasks in Imo State.It is in fulfilment, realization and actualization of your commitment to Equity and Justice to help in facilitating this objective in making sure that Imo Governorship Seat moves to Owerri Zone in 2027 as you promised.
Your Excellency, if by the Grace of God, you actualize this target of yours in handing over power to Owerri Zone in 2027, be rest assured that Owerri People will remain grateful and will work in close partnership with you after office and all through your Political life as a key partner in the progress if Imo State.
I also want to appeal to all our people from Owerri Zone to focus on our Common Good, jettison all past selfish activities against Owerri Zone which had always prevented Owerri Zone from coming together with one voice to give us Victory.
I equally appeal to our Brothers from Orlu and Okigwe Zones that Owerri Zone cannot execute this project alone without their support in this journey.
We also want to appeal that all hands must be on deck across the Zones in supporting His Excellency in achieving this historic goal, which will be his major legacy for Ndi Imo today and those yet unborn.
As we celebrate this Month of November with you, we pray God will continue to Protect you,, give you more strength and wisdom to execute and realize this noble target that will be a lasting gift to Owerri Zone in particular and Imo State in general.
