In a landmark move to reshape the development narrative across continents, Solution Social Initiative (SSI)—a key social development arm of the Solution Prayer Power Divine Ministry in Nigeria—has entered into a historic partnership with the Community Development Foundation (CDF-GWDN), a Pakistan-based global NGO with a strong U.S. presence.
On July 10, 2025, both organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to officially launch a global campaign titled “Human Transformation”, which is geared toward empowering women, uplifting youth, and transforming vulnerable communities in Nigeria, Pakistan, and beyond.
The MOU was signed by Prophet Efe Cyril Edah, Director of SSI, and Dr. Mariam Khan, President of CDF and Founder of the Global Women Development Network (GWDN). This alliance lays the foundation for a far-reaching, cross-continental movement focused on grassroots empowerment, policy influence, and community regeneration.
“This partnership is not just a document—it is a divine mandate and a global call to action,” said Prophet Efe Cyril Edah, emphasizing SSI’s mission to combine faith-based values with measurable development impact. “By partnering with CDF, we are bridging the gap between purpose and progress, and taking bold steps to empower the next generation of women and youth across the globe.”
He highlighted key areas of collaboration under the MOU, which include: Empowering over 3,000 women in Nigeria and Pakistan through access to entrepreneurship, microfinance, ICT training, and trade facilitation; Launching SDG Academies to institutionalize sustainable development education at the grassroots level.
Additionally, it entails organizing joint conferences, seminars, and research programs to foster policy change and global awareness; Building digital knowledge hubs and community-based training centers; Enhancing women’s involvement in agriculture, technology, business incubation, and social enterprise; and Engaging strategically with African and international development agencies such as the AU, ECOWAS, NEPC, and various Nigerian Federal Ministries.
This multi-year alliance reflects a shared commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is backed by the UN Global Marketplace framework. With a three-year initial timeline, the partnership is designed to scale sustainably, with prospects of expansion to 50+ countries, utilizing global mentors and women leaders as key catalysts.
According to Dr. Mariam Khan, President of CDF, the partnership “is a movement to ensure that women and youth are not sidelined in the development dialogue, but are equipped as architects of their own future.”
As SSI continues its work to blend spirituality with social impact, this partnership represents a major leap forward in its vision for community transformation, women’s leadership, and youth development, not just in Nigeria but across continents.
Together, SSI and CDF-GWDN are setting a precedent for what faith-based collaboration with global development institutions can achieve: real, measurable change in the lives of those who need it most.
