The people of Amakam Egberemiri Autonomous Community, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area have called for a review of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) entered into by the community and Nwokonko Construction Services Limited over sand mining activities along the Imo River Channel in the area.
They made their position known during a panel review meeting on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), held in Owerri.
