A non-governmental organization, Chinpat Global Foundation, has donated bags of rice and cash to over 370 widows and 24 octogenarians in Ihiagwa Autonomous Community, Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.
The ceremony, which commenced with a thanksgiving service at St. John’s Anglican Church, Ihiagwa, also featured the inauguration of the Ada-Meziri-Ala-Nnaya Widows and Octogenarians Associations.
