The National President of Hoperising for Imolites, Chief Success Akagburuonye, has redeemed his pledge of One Hundred and Ninety-Two Million Naira to 192 participants of the 2026 Easter Retreat of the Assemblies of God Church.

Chief Akagburuonye disclosed this during a church service held at Noah’s Ark Assemblies of God Church, Ogbor Uvuru, in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.
Addressing the congregation, Chief Akagburuonye recalled the excitement and fulfilment he experienced when he became a millionaire in 1998, attributing his success and sustained prosperity to God’s grace and faithfulness over the years.

He urged the beneficiaries to make proper use of the funds, noting that the attitude people exhibit towards blessings received from God and fellow humans often determines how far such opportunities can positively impact their lives.

The Hoperising for Imolites National President further stated that many people lose divine opportunities because of bitterness, anger, and resentment towards God, advising Christians to remain steadfast, humble, and committed to godly living.

Some of the beneficiaries, including Mrs. Chinyere Amaefule, Mr. Lawrence Ehika, Mrs. Justina Oscar, and Mr. Ikechukwu Echeazu, expressed appreciation to Chief Akagburuonye for the generous gesture.

They pledged to invest the money in expanding their businesses and improving the welfare of their families, describing the support as timely and life-changing.

Earlier, the Leader of the Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, South East Zone, Bishop Joshua Robert, commended Chief Akagburuonye for his consistent commitment to humanitarian service and empowerment initiatives across communities.

Bishop Robert prayed for God’s continued blessings, protection, and wisdom upon the philanthropist, while also asking God to grant him the desires of his heart.

The church service also featured special prayers for Chief Akagburuonye’s political ambition, with worshippers praying for divine direction and success in his future endeavours.
