Stakeholders in Imo State have expressed concerns following the postponement of the 2026 Local Government Council elections, earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
They expressed their views during a critical stakeholders’ meeting convened by the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC) in Owerri. The meeting was attended by a large turnout of representatives of various political parties, security agencies, traditional rulers, the media, Presidents-General and government officials.
