Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area occupies a strategic position in Nigeria’s oil and gas economy.
The member representing Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Chief Eugene Dibiagwu, stated this while delivering the keynote address at the 2026 Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Ohaji Egbema.
The synod, themed “The Cross: The Mistake of the Devil,” was held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Obitti, and was attended by the Archbishop of Owerri Province, David Onuoha, bishops, traditional rulers and other dignitaries.
