The Executive Vice Chairman Of Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Council Imo State, Prince Matthew Igbokwe who was alleged of armed robbery offense by the Legislative of Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Council and therein suspended him on 13th April 2026 has dragged the Ezinihitte Mbaise Council, the Executive Chairman to the Council Hon Nwachukwu Ambrose Chinedu, the leader Ezinihitte Mbaise Legislative Council, Hon Deconnest Mgbechi Benson And Clerk Of the House Nwagbara Ijeoma to Court.
Prince Matthew while addressing journalists in Mbaise said that they gave him indefinite suspension base on the allegation which was published on News points, Punch Newspaper and online.
Matthew stated that having not being convicted on the said allegation by a court of competent jurisdiction he filled a motion exparte at High Court Aboh Mbaise through his lawyer Barr F.E Ndukwu (Senior Council Of Nigeria) which leave was granted to him to quash the said indefinite suspension.
According to him the matter was adjourned for further hearing.
