As part of the measures to ameliorate sufferings among people with disability in Orsu local government area, C Divine Foundation on Sunday 24th September 2023 distributed food items at St. Joseph Catholic Parish Umuna Orlu.
Among the food items distributed included rice, noodles and cash price.
The Chairman of the disable community in Orsu local government, Mr. Cyril Ezikeugo while receiving the food items commended Brother CY foundation for coming to their aid in difficult time, stressing that the current state of the nation’s economy and the insecurity in their community have made it hard for them to feed and take care of their families.
“Some of us who have health issues can not afford drugs, there is nobody to help because people are afraid to come back home, insecurity have made people who usually help us to run away from home, but C Divine Foundation heard our cry and decided to show us love, our prayers is that God will protect Brother CY from evil and continue to bless him, his business and entire family.”
Mr. Ezikeugo further appealed to government and other well meaning citizens of Orsu local government to borrow a leaf from C Divine foundation stressing that many people in the village are in the same situation and need urgent support.
