…Promises More Opportunities

The National Leader of Hoperiiiiising for Imolites Foundation, Chief Success Akagburuonye has launched a vocational skills acquisition and empowerment programme for 200 Imo youths and women in partnership with Pato Binto Entrepreneurial and Skills Acquisition Company.

Chief Akagburuonye disclosed this during the inauguration of the programme held at Ogbor Uvuru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

He explained that after discovering the initiative in Abuja, he decided to bring it to Imo State as part of his commitment to attracting meaningful development and empowerment opportunities for the people.

According to him, hard work, dedication, and sacrifice remain essential ingredients for success and societal transformation.

He expressed optimism that the beneficiaries would utilize the skills acquired to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the state’s economic growth.

Chief Akagburuonye assured participants that Imo State would rise from hope to success, stressing that empowering citizens with practical skills remains one of the most effective ways to combat unemployment and poverty.

He further pledged that if elected governor of Imo State, he would harness the state’s resources to establish industries and institutions capable of creating jobs and providing opportunities for skilled individuals to thrive.

Earlier, the Director of Projects, Pato Binto Entrepreneurial and Skills Acquisition Company , Mr. Mohammed Ibni Sahib, said the beneficiaries would receive intensive training in catering, paint production, household products manufacturing, spices production, event decoration, and makeup artistry.

Mr. Sahib commended Chief Akagburuonye for sponsoring the programme, describing the initiative as a demonstration of visionary leadership and a genuine commitment to human capital development.

Some participants, including Mrs. Azuike Ijeoma, Mr. Cletus Ibe, and Miss Judith Nwokeocha, expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the training would enhance their economic prospects and improve their standard of living.

The two-week programme commenced on Monday and is expected to benefit participants drawn from the three political zones of Imo State.
