An Activist, Writer and Social Commentator, Mr. Kenneth Uwadi has appealed to Nigerians of good conscience to come to his aide and save him from a debilitating ailment.
Mr. Uwadi who hails from Mmahu in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State is diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
According to a medical report signed by Dr. Ovunda Worlu of University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Mr. Uwadi “is receiving Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP) treatment. He is also receiving Type 2 diabetes and heart medications.”
Mr. Uwadi said he needed to stay alive for his two kids and solicited for financial assistance to buy insulin and other medications.
He said:
“I am seriously down. I wish to stay alive for the sake of my two kids. My health has deteriorated so bad. Whatever is going on right now is bigger than me. My only option is to beg for this help and pray to God for mercy.
“My heart is beating up and down rapidly as I speak to you now and I am urinating per second per second. Once I urinate I will immediately urinate again. I am very weak right now.
“I am seeking for money to enable me get insulin urgently and other medications.
