Member-elect for Owerri West State Constituency in the just concluded House of Assembly election, Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi has commended the people of Nekede Autonomous Community for their votes during the election.
Onyemaechi gave the commendation, Sunday, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Umualum, Nekede during a brief ceremony organized as part of the activities to celebrate the 2023 Mothers’ Day in April 16.
Onyemaechi, who is the Majority Leader in the 9th Assembly, noted the overwhelming support and love extended to him by the people, leading to his re-election, and promised to reciprocate the gesture.
He vowed to support the church whenever called upon.
He stated that anyone who believes in God must experience changes in life and prayed the church to continue to offer prayers on his behalf.
Onyemaechi announced that their slot in his office as the Majority Leader is still intact while assuring to consolidate on his past achievements.
The Majority Leader alongside his wife made separate donations to support the work of God.
