RBK Okafor Family Foundation has announced the commencement of the second edition of its biannual undergraduate scholarship scheme.
Those eligible to apply are students from Ohaji Egbema, Oguta and Oru West local government areas.
Applicants are requested to present an admission letter or letter from the Head of Department, and a form that must be signed by the President General or Traditional ruler or the Village Head of their community.
Submission begins from Monday, November 25, 2024 while date for the examination is slated for Saturday, December 3, 2024.
It could be recalled that four students emerged winners in the first edition organized in January 2023. Anyanwu Daniel, who emerged the overall winner was a HND 1 student of Imo State Polytechnic, Omuma.
A statement from the Chairman of the Foundation, Ngozi RBK Okafor states that the Scholarship scheme is part of the Foundation’s effort to celebrate the life of their father, late Raphael Ben Kechi Okafor, a man of great vision, strength, and integrity whose impact was immeasurable.
According to her, late Okafor’s belief in Education was one of the greatest lessons he imparted us with.
“To him, Education is your clearest path to success, no matter your background. It levels the playing field for young people, especially in our country where bribery and nepotism rule the day.
