Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Afrihedge Properties Ltd, Hon. Collins Igwe says Southeast can be the dream land of Igbos if people of the region imbibe the spirit of think-home-mentality (akuruolo).
Igwe stated this shortly after he was honoured with the Young Achievers Award at the 4th Eastern Nigeria Merit Awards held in Owerri, the Imo State capital recently.
Expressing his happiness for the nomination and award, Igwe urged Ndigbo with investments outside Igboland to bring them home and join hands to develop the region.
He commended the organizers of the award for taking the lead on matters concerning the development of Igboland by using the award to encourage people of the region who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour.
