A frontline film maker and foremost marketer, Hon. Chikezie Donatus popularly known as Don Nkems, weekend, paid a courtesy visit on the traditional ruler of Oguta pristine kingdom, Eze Nnani Chinedu Nzeribe.
He said the organizers of the Imo International Film Festival billed to hold July 25th to 27th, deemed it necessary to visit the monarch to solicit support.
Don Nkems described Oguta as the best resort centre in the State and one of the best in Nigeria with a magnificent view of the Oguta Lake.
He informed that during the festival, people will get the chance to see so many movies, noting that actors and actresses from different walks of life will attend the historic event.
“There will be a training on cinematography and the likes, for Imo citizens during the festival”, he added, while assuring that the festival will boost economic activities of the State.
He said the festival would serve as a veritable platform to showcase the hospitable nature of Oguta people and rich cultural heritage of Imo, as well as the developmental efforts of the Governor, Hope Uzodimma.
Responding, the Eze Igwe and paramount ruler of Oguta Community, Eze Nnani Chinedu Nzeribe pledged the support of the community to ensure the success of the festival.
