Candidate for Orlu State Constituency in the March 11 State Assembly elections, Comrade Dr. Mrs. Justina Ekene Akwuaka-Akwaja has prayed God to grant many more years of good health, wisdom and grace on HRM Eze Dr. Douglas Okwara, OkwaraChukwu IV, Igwe of Umuna Ancient Kingdom, his family, people and land.
Eze Douglas is celebrating 60 years of God’s abundant blessings and 20 years on the throne as the traditional ruler of Umuna ancient kingdom.
Akwaja, who is contesting on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, recalled that Umuna people through their revered monarch opened their doors to her and poured their blessings and support on her and promised to reciprocate this gesture upon winning the election, by ensuring a major government developmental presence on Umuna community.
She said that the people of Umuna are blessed to have a fantastic upwardly mobile monarch like Eze Douglas, whose reign has brought nothing but peace, progress and development in the land of Umuna.
She reckoned that the monarch has been relentless in pursuing the best choices for the good people of Umuna autonomous community, including the attraction of verifiable dividends of democracy, such as human capacity development, peace in Umuna kingdom, sinking of boreholes, market renovations, security vigilance among many others.
She prayed for many more years on the throne for the distinguished Monarch and promised to work with the revered traditional ruler when she emerges as Member representing Orlu State Constituency.
Akwaja however described Eze Douglas as a special gift from God to the people of Umuna, Orlu LGA and Igbo nation in general, adding that his doggedness, courage and sagacity in confronting issues as they affect the community know no bounds.
“May this special occasion be full of joy, and may you have a successful life ahead. Every day of your life shall be filled with happiness because you deserve it on a daily basis in JESUS name, Ameeeeeen!!!”, Akwaja prayed.
