The National Association of Electronic Media Presenters of Nigeria, NAEMPON has commended Chief Charles Chidubem Mbanude, founder and president of Ifegadi Foundation his commitment to security and community development in Imo State.
Speaking during the Association’s recognition of Mbanude’s leadership excellence and philanthropic activities in Owerri on Saturday 17th May, 2025, NAEMPON President, Comrade Jerry Osuji said building houses for the poor, installing solar street lights, provision of drones for security surveillance, distribution of palliatives during these challenging times, unwavering support for the vineyard of God and various charitable causes exemplify Mbanude’s compassionate spirit
Osuji added that part of the corporate social responsibilities of media houses is to identify personalities and organizations such as Chief Chidube Mbanude and Ifegadi Foundation and project their activities to inspire others to follow in his footsteps, instead of leaving the huge task of security and community development to government alone.
Reacting to his recognition Mbanude expressed gratitude for being considered worthy of recognition and promised to do more.
Among those present at the event were Ambassador Victor Clark Alisigwe of Skills FM, Secretary, Chief Comrade Salvator Amadi of Darling FM, Publicity Secretary, Prince Clarkson Iheanetu Evans of Zanders FM/TV, Chairman of NAEMPON Think Tank Committee, and Ngozi Ejimadu of Orient FM/TV, Welfare Officer.
Others were Ifedi Nwokeji , Nze Ozioma Nwajieshi and Christiana Osuji who represented Ifegadi Foundation.
