All things being equal, the Labour Party candidate for Owerri Municipal in the just concluded State House of Assembly election, Hon. Clinton Amadi will today file a petition in the tribunal to challenge the outcome of the March 18 poll.
Amadi, who disclosed this to newsmen, weekend, expressed confidence that the court will rule in his favour considering the incontrovertible evidence he has against the candidate of the All Progressives Congress erroneously and illegally declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
He thanked the people of Owerri Municipal for voting massively for him during the election.
Amadi equally appreciated their support and zeal with which they voted and defended their votes.
Whilst urging them to remain law abiding, Amadi promised to celebrate them ahead of his victory in court.
