…Relishes support to Umunachi Autonomous Community

The traditional ruler of Umunachi Autonomous Community in Obowo Council Area of Imo State, HRH Eze Ubadire Barnabas Opara has scored Governor Hope Uzodimma high on provision of road infrastructures in the state.
Ubadire, in an interview with Newsmen at Isiala Mbano Council Headquarters, weekend, also lauded the governor for doing marvelously well in many facets of governance, particularly, roads and education.
He therefore called for support to enable the governor complete the good works he is doing in the state.
The Ezediohamma II of Umunachi Autonomous Community also disclosed his efforts towards providing purposeful leadership and alleviating the sufferings of his subjects.
According to him, “there comes a time one has to take drastic steps to achieve certain results”.
Eze Ubadire recalled activating contacts from the United States of America that led to the empowerment of 200 Umunachi indigenes with 50,000 naira each.
The monarch also informed that under his reign, 60 indigenes of the community were registered in WAEC exam free of charge, last year, and promised to improve the number next time.
He also noted that over 300 women have benefitted from agriculture, an initiative, he introduced to support women in the community.
He vowed to continue to advance the cause of humanity in Umunachi Autonomous Community.
