Majeroku Village in Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State witnessed a surge of spiritual activity and human movement as C.A.C. Babalola Centre, Ori-Oke Adeyanju E., hosted its 2026 annual programme from April 22 to 24. Themed “The Key of Success” (Matthew 16:19), the gathering drew worshippers from across Nigeria, many of whom described the Ori-Oke as a place of proven testimonies and spiritual renewal.
The three-day event blended structured teachings, extended prayer sessions, and communal worship, reinforcing the Centre’s growing reputation as a convergence point for faith and collective aspiration.
Central to the programme were teachings that explored the biblical concept of “keys” as symbols of authority, access, and divine empowerment. Through practical illustrations, ministers emphasized that success is not accidental but guided by spiritual principles such as faith, discipline, obedience, and service. Participants were encouraged to see the “key” as both a responsibility and a privilege, granting access to purpose, opportunity, and transformation when rightly applied. The teachings resonated strongly with attendees, many of whom shared testimonies linking past encounters at the Ori-Oke to personal breakthroughs and renewed direction.
The programme was led by the Convener, Prophet Evang. T.M.O. ADurota, who reiterated that the vision of the Ori-Oke extends beyond spiritual encounters to a broader mission of human liberation and support for society. According to him, faith must translate into tangible impact, shaping individuals who contribute positively to their communities. This emphasis on faith-driven responsibility framed the event not only as a religious gathering but as a platform for moral and social reawakening.
Other ministers and gospel artists also contributed to the spiritual depth of the programme, including Adekola; Lady Evangelist Grace Fumilayo Ajayi; Pastor Ajetomobi E.; Pastor Akinyande; and Rev. Moses Ariyori. Additional ministrations were delivered by Lady Evangelist Melody Akinrinsola of Voice of Grace International and Pastor Timilehin Fasawe, whose sessions through worship and exhortation further energized participants and complemented the programme’s core teachings.
A key highlight of the programme was the presence of HRM Oba Augustine Aderemi Obaleye – the Olujudo of Ido Ile Ekiti, who delivered a keynote address urging congregants to embody the values of unity, integrity, and peaceful coexistence. He called on participants to extend the lessons of the Ori-Oke beyond the prayer ground, stressing that true spirituality is reflected in how individuals contribute to societal harmony and development. His remarks reinforced the programme’s overarching message that faith and community advancement are deeply interconnected.
Beyond its spiritual significance, the gathering also demonstrated the socio-economic value of faith-based events in rural communities. The influx of visitors stimulated local commerce, benefiting traders, transport operators, and small-scale service providers. At the same time, the event fostered social cohesion by bringing together people from diverse regions and backgrounds, strengthening bonds of fellowship and shared identity.
As the 2026 Ori-Oke programme concluded, participants departed with a renewed sense of purpose aligned with its central theme. The emphasis on faith, unity, and community development underscored a broader narrative, that spiritual gatherings such as this can serve not only as places of worship, but also as catalysts for social connection, economic activity, and collective progress.
