The Chairman of Owerri Municipal Council, Mr. Chidiebere Emeribe, has laid his mother, Lady Patience Emeribe of Umuokorie in Amawom Autonomous Community, to rest.
The funeral Mass, which preceded the interment, was held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Douglas Road, Owerri.
Stanley Okehie reports that the burial attracted a large turnout of dignitaries, including the Member representing Owerri Municipal State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Chief Clinton Amadi; the Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Monitoring and Compliance, Mr. Chinasa Nwaneri; and other notable personalities.
