Candidate for Ikeduru State Constituency on the platform of Boot Party, Hon Sir Henry Igbokwe has assured Ndi Ikeduru of effective and active representation via sponsorship of motions that are people-oriented.
He also promised Ndi Ikeduru educational improvement and poverty eradication.
Igbokwe, who spoke at a town hall meeting organized by Justice, Development, Peace and Caritas Commission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri, informed that he will engage the people of Ikeduru in capacity building and reorientation programmes when elected.
Hon. Igbokwe popularly known as Dikeogu Amaimo hinted that he will ensure food security and promote agriculture in the area through the partnership of FADAMA, International Institute for Tropical Agriculture, SONGHAI and many others.
Assuring that he will establish Ikeduru Sustainable Development Center that will champion all the developmental activities in Ikeduru, Chief Igbokwe vowed to attract infrastructural development as well as development partners, local and foreign donor agencies to partner with him and develop the constituency.
“I will ensure robust welfare package for the children, less privileged and the elderly in Ikeduru”, Igbokwe declared while calling on Ikeduru people to shun god-fatherism and money politics but rather vote for candidates with credibility, character and competence.
