It was all joy last Sunday, October 27 at the residence of Sir Clems Nwanesi at Worldbank, Owerri as family members, friends and well-wishers gathered to celebrate with him on his birthday anniversary.
The occasion which commenced when members of Good Friends International Club arrived the venue, had guests treated to a lavishing lunch.
The celebrant, Good Friend Clems Nwanesi who is a member of the Club was overjoyed as he beamed with smiles throughout the occasion.
Speaking shortly before cutting his birthday cake, Nwanesi thanked his guests for gracing the occasion and assured of his preparedness to entertain all.
He equally commended those who assisted in making sure that the occasion was a success, whilst praying for God’s abundant blessings on all his guests.
The President of Good Friends Int’l Club, Comrade Chamberlyn Ononiwu had earlier described Good Friend Nwanesi as an eminent and dedicated member of the club, attributing that as the reason members of the Club deferred other engagements to honour him on his birthday.
Ononiwu prayed for many more years of celebrations and great accomplishments.
Lending his voice, Good Friend Imuche Chukwu who anchored the programme, prayed thus: “Today is a great day to get started on another 365-day journey. It’s a fresh start to new beginnings, new hopes, and great endeavors. Be sure to have adventures along the way. Wishing you the best of today and every day in the future!”
For Good Friend Reginald Eke who said the opening prayer, “A great person like Clems deserves remarkable things. And we expect nothing less from you because you are the warmest and the most deserving person to whom amazing things should happen. Wishing you a wonderful birthday and a great year ahead!”
