A frontline governorship aspirant from mbaitoli local government Hon. Chinedu Amadi has declared that his aim for joining the Imo state gubernatorial race is to salvage Imolites from Insecurity.
The UK based Oil magnet stated this on Wednesday 15th February 2022 at the labour party state secretariat during his official declaration.
According to him, Imo state and it’s citizens have been living in fear, killing, destruction of properties, banditry and kidnapping has ravaged our dear state.
” Visiting Imo state at this period is like a sucide mission and that does not tell good about us, he said.
It is on this note that I present my self for imo state governorship race under the platform of labour party so that Imo will regain it status quo as peaceful and tourist hub in Nigeria.
Amadi who is also the president organization of youths- in international trade and commerce OY-ITC further reiterated he has the will and connection to attract foreign investor and construction of oil refinery if he is elected governor of the state while soliciting for total support from the party and imolites.
In his response, the state chairman of labour party Chief Ambrose Onyekwere described Chinedu Amadi as the youngest among all the aspirant adding that he is a first class material who has excel in the academic and oil industry across the globe.
However, he noted that the party will provide a level playing ground for all the aspirant, as transparent process will be adopted in choosing a candidate to fly the party flag in the election.
