Councilor representing Aladinma Ward in Owerri Municipal local government council, Hon. Kelechi Nnoaham has received an award as “Nwata kwo cha ndi Igbo” from Ndigbo United Forum Imo state chapter.

The colourful event which held at Rockview Hotel Owerri on Saturday 21st December attracted traditional rulers and reputable Igbo sons and daughters from home and abroad.

Responding after receiving his award, Hon. Nnoaham said that the award of recognition would motivate him to put more effort in propagating Igbo cosmology, adding that he feels grateful being recognized for the little he had given to society.

According to him, “it pays to do good and we are doing it by the grace of God who strengthens us, Ndigbo United Forum have been committed to ensuring that Igbo customs and traditions do no go into extinction and it is also a duty for every Igbo son and daughter to join hand in this crusade because a tribe without an identity is a lost tribe.”

While dedicating the award to God almighty, he further advised Ndigbo to work in love and unity wherever they find themselves and always support one another.
