Following the success recorded during the 2024 Imo International Film Festival held in Owerri, a  philanthropist of note and Chief Executive of D-WINE Boss Emporium Limited, Chief Kennedy Nzubechukwu Maduewesi has expressed excitement and applauded the Organizers of the three day film festival for a job well done.

The Chief Executive expressed his feelings while reacting to the Achiever’s Award bestowed on him by the Organizers of the Film Festival.

Maduewesi who also sits as the Chairman of Nzubechukwu Charity Foundation, spoke highly of the well-planned festival, attributing the success to a good team work and collaborative effort of all the people involved in the project.

He noted the challenges that follow festivals of such nature and magnitude and hailed the Organizers for surmounting every obstacle and thrilling the guests to the event with such a wonderful package.

“The much touted  insecurity in the state became a ruse, and the three-day festival went on smoothly, just as the award-winning movies screened at the grand finale remained top notch”, Maduewesi stressed, while particularly,  congratulating the Director of Logistics and Planning of the event, Ambassador  Gershon Lazarus for his remarkable role in making the event successful.

Maduewesi, famed for his philanthropic nature,  however expressed gratitude to the Organizers of Imo International Film Festival for recognizing his efforts in serving humanity and crowning same with an Achiever’s award, adding that the well-deserved honour will spur him to do greater things for society.

While pledging his support to programs that advance the cause of humanity, Maduewesi expressed optimism that the next edition of the film festival will be better and massive.
