The Chairman and Secretary-General of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), Prof Rafat Marcin Wasik has eulogized IHRC Ambassador-at-Large/Head of Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria, His Excellency, Ambassador Dr. Duru Hezekiah on his 2024 birthday anniversary.

Prof. Rafat described the celebrant as a committed and selfless leader, whose  professional journey had contributed to shaping the regional policies and implementing sustainable development initiatives.

The Secretary-General, in a congratulatory message made available to Journalists, thanked God for his faithfulness and loving kindness towards the Ambassador-at-Large.

He said Dr. Hezekiah’s art of influencing people, organizations, and institutions to accomplish specific purposes, such as missions that serve public and national interests, was impressive.

“Beyond shaping policies, his presentations and keynote speeches had provided insights and inspirations to navigating underlying solutions to confronting issues”, Prof Rafat said.

“On this auspicious occasion of your birthday, we are united in supplication to God for Him to grant you continuous good health and the wisdom of Solomon, the type you had so far demonstrated in the conduct of IHRC’s affairs”, he added.

“On behalf of my family, the International Human Rights Commission, and the good people of Nigeria, I join the rest of the world to congratulate Your Excellency, Ambassador Dr. Duru Hezekiah on your birthday”.

Also felicitating Dr Hezekiah on his birthday anniversary, the Head of Media and Strategic Communications, IHRC, Nigeria, Mr.  Fidelis Onakpoma described Dr. Duru as a philanthropist and an unrepentant social advocate whose penchant for diligence and vast contributions to community development are worthy of emulation.
