Member for Oru West State Constituency and All Progressives Congress candidate in the March 11 House of Assembly election, Barr Dominic Ezerioha, has promised to ensure that the comprehensiveness of ISAMATA law will be well adduced, scrutinized and passed into law, when re-elected.

Ezerioha made the promise weekend, during a program organized by ISMATA for candidates seeking various elective positions on the platform of APC.

ISAMATA, an acronym for Imo State Amalgamated Markets And Traders Association, is an umbrella body for all the traders in the State.

Barr Ezerioha, who debunked insinuations that ISAMATA doesn’t have a law, argued in defense of the organization, stating that ISAMATA has a by-law already in use.

According to him, the by-law had been made as a preparatory format of making the legal aspect of the law to stand a test of time.

He averred that ISAMATA law when passed, will create many impacts on market women and men in Imo State.

While not giving further details into the law, Ezerioha said the building and structural systems of markets in Imo State is part of the law.

The APC candidate relished his achievements since 2019, revealing that he had built five markets of 120 units each and boreholes inside the markets.

He also claimed to have constructed seven boreholes and three hospitals, passed 21 bills and three laws.

He boasted that over 98% of Oru West are happy with him owing to his landmark achievements and urged them to remain calm, law abiding and continue to pray that he wins the second time for them to enjoy more democracy dividends.
