Candidate for Ihiala 1 State Constituency in the March 11 State Assembly election, Barr Okwy Ejezie has described late Madam Catherine Ebulue as a woman, who until her passing to the great beyond, portrayed humility without compromising her integrity.
Ejezie, who is contesting on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, stated this at Okohia, Ihiala during the burial of Madam Catherine Ebulue, the mother of Hon Ejike Ebulue.
Ejezie, who was accompanied by some members of his campaign team, said he was saddened by Madam Ebulue’s death, which sad event occurred at the age of 75 years.
“Madam Ebulue’s demise was a painful reminder to all that each and every one of us has an appointed day of departure from this world”, Ejezie stated.
The PDP candidate, described late Madam Ebulue as a peace-loving woman with good Christian leaning but, however regretted that she died at a time her wisdom was needed most.
Whilst praying for the peaceful repose of the Septuagenarian, the House of Assembly hopeful urged Hon. Ejike Ebulue and other members of Ebulue family to bear the irreparable loss with great courage and fortitude.
In his brief remarks at the burial ceremony, Hon. Ejike Ebulue’s eldest brother prayed God to grant Ejezie’s heart desires, believing that his emergence will help to develop Ihiala 1 Constituency.
