Labour Party Committee Chairman, Special Duties, Dr. Emeka Mandela says the presidential candidate of the party, Mr Peter Obi will encourage education and self-improvement for everyone when elected as president in the February 25 presidential poll.
Mandela stated this in Owerri, the Imo State capital, while fielding questions from Newsmen.
He also assured that Obi will reward people who have invested in education, noting that an educated society is a progressive society.
He urged Nigerians to shun monetary inducements during the election.
Mandela, a former presidential aspirant on the platform of National Rescue Movement stressed that everything about government is people-oriented, and advised citizens to ensure that their votes count by participating in the election and ensuring Peter Obi’s emergence.
