PDP will win landslide in Owerri West – Campaign Council Chairman, Opara

Ahead the February 25 and March 11 elections in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Council Chairman for Owerri West LGA, Dr. Ray Opara has assured that the party will win landslide in Owerri West.
Opara who gave the assurance during a town hall meeting/presidential rally held in Owerri, Wednesday, promised to tour communities in Owerri West and sensitize the people about the good programmes of the party.
He however, expressed confidence in the capacity of candidates of the party seeking various elective positions, saying that their antecedents and messages of effective representation they preach, would earn them victory in the coming polls.
Responding to questions on the daunting challenges confronting the nation, Dr. Opara said the office of the president demands an experienced person like the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, who Opara reassured, fits the bill and would bring the needed changes to better the lots of Nigerians.
He also spoke highly of the Owerri Zone Senatorial candidate of the party, Hon. Uche Onyeagocha.
According to him, Onyeagocha is very courageous and remains the best man for the job.
Opara equally tipped Engr Ikenna Elezieanya, PDP candidate for Owerri Federal Constituency for victory, citing his unmatchable records of achievement since the last four years.
On Chief Rogers Augustine Nwoke, PDP candidate for Owerri West State Constituency and his Owerri North counterpart Hon. Philip Ejiogu, Opara said they are sellable candidates that had done their constituents proud in so many areas.
He reposed confidence that PDP in Imo State will win overwhelmingly in the forthcoming polls while calling on Imo citizens of good conscience to reject any offer to vote any candidate without integrity.
