Chairman, Committee on Strategy and Planning of Labour Party in Imo State and Member of the Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Ike Ibe has described the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi as a unifying factor of Nigeria, and therefore enjoined citizens to rally round him in the February 25 presidential election.
Ibe explained that there is no zone in Nigeria that has not endorsed Peter Obi for president, noting that it was the first of its kind.
He described Obi as the messiah of Nigeria and solicited for votes for the LP presidential candidate to enable him accomplish part of his mission on earth.
Ibe, who spoke in Owerri, the Imo State capital, last week, urged every Nigerian irrespective of tribe, to be part of those God will use to liberate the nation through Peter Obi’s emergence.
The former lawmaker also advised Ndigbo to shun what he described as scare mongering, stressing that its promoters were bought over to intimidate Igbo voters and subsequently discourage them from voting in the coming elections.
He informed that Igbos in Southeast registered about 9million voters and 12.2million outside Igboland, arguing that such number alone could guarantee Obi’s victory at the poll.
The PCC member urged every voting adult, especially in Igboland, to rise to the occasion and endeavor to vote for Peter Obi, who he described, as the most qualified candidate among those jostling for the position.
He equally solicited for votes for other candidates of the party so as to complement Obi’s design to salvage Nigeria.
Ibe admonished Nigerians to remain obedient to the mandate, citizens have given the Labour Party presidential candidate to decide their fate.
