Mr. Emmanuel Izunna Ezeh has narrated his ordeal in the hands of militants who, he said were after his father’s life.
Ezeh who was resident in Lagos before relocating to Delta state, said in February 17th, 2021, he was accosted by five fierce – looking hoodlums who pushed him into a waiting vehicle while crossing the road in the street of Asaba, Delta State.


“The hoodlums gave me the beating of my life in a bid to elicit information about my father’s whereabouts,” Ezeh said in tears.
He said the hoodlums claimed to be militants operating in the area.
According to him, they accused his father, Silva Chukuyeremka Ezeh of testifying against one of their members, Peter Dunonye over a land matter with one Bernard Okolie.


Ezeh said the militants threatened to kill him if he failed to volunteer useful information that could lead to his father’s capture.
Ezeh said the militant were conveying him to an unknown location when they suddenly ran into policemen and took to their heels, abandoning him in their vehicle.
The Police Public Relations officer, Delta State Command confirmed the incident.
